Addendum to the Contract Signed between LLP "CCGT Turkistan" and Doosan Enerbility Co., Ltd.

A ceremonial signing of an Addendum to the EPC Contract between LLP "CCGT Turkistan" and Doosan Enerbility Co., Ltd. was held in Shymkent. The Addendum pertains to the turnkey procurement contract for the project "Construction of a 1000 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant in Turkistan Region. Main Site."

The document was signed by Mr. Kuanysh Bektemirov, Chairman of the Management Board of LLP "CCGT Turkistan," and Mr. Seongyeol Lee, Vice President of the EPC Sales Division at Doosan Enerbility Co., Ltd.

The signing of the Addendum is essential for conducting customs procedures for the power plant equipment to be delivered, as well as for the timely transportation and installation of key units, including gas and steam turbines.

As the Employer, LLP "CCGT Turkistan" and the General Contractor and Consortium Leader Doosan Enerbility Co., Ltd. are interested in minimizing the risks of delays in the delivery of the power plant’s technological equipment to ensure timely implementation of the project.

It is worth noting that the main objective of constructing the 1000 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant is to compensate for irregular fluctuations in electrical load and imbalances in power flow from renewable energy sources, as well as to reduce Kazakhstan's energy dependence on neighboring countries.
