CCGT Turkistan Supervisory Board Members Reviewed Construction Progress

Gabidulla Abdrakhimov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CCGT Turkistan LLP, and Alexey Repin, Member of the Supervisory Board, visited the construction site of the 1,000 MW CCGT Turkistan power plant.

Together with the management of CCGT Turkistan LLP and representatives of Doosan Enerbility and Integra Construction KZ LLP, they reviewed the progress of preparations for commissioning works.

At the administrative and amenity complex, the delegation reviewed the readiness of the future control room. In the main power block, they inspected installation works in the Unit 1 electrical switchgear building and the gas turbine section, including the installation of equipment and process systems. At the Operational Control Point, cable installation and installation of electrical cabinets are continuing.

The delegation also reviewed installation works at the air-cooled condenser. At Unit 2, they inspected the installation and connection of heat recovery steam generator components, the bypass duct and the main stack. Cable laying is also continuing across the facilities.

Clear coordination of construction readiness, equipment installation and engineering systems is essential to ensure a timely transition to the next stage.

Following the site visit, the project team was given a number of tasks:

— accelerate work at key areas;

— ensure effective coordination among contractors;

— promptly resolve technical issues affecting the readiness of equipment and systems;

— concentrate the resources required for the timely start of commissioning works.
