During the Business Council, Ulan Burkitov held a working meeting with Lim Kwang Jae, Executive Vice President and Head of the Construction Business at Doosan Enerbility Co., Ltd. The parties reviewed in detail the construction progress of CCGT Turkistan, current project priorities, and the strategy for further coordination.
South Korean industrial company Doosan Enerbility Co., Ltd., together with Integra Construction KZ LLP, leads the EPC consortium responsible for construction of the power plant in the Turkistan Region. The project is one of the major examples of interstate industrial cooperation in the energy sector.
On the sidelines of the Kazakhstan-Korea Business Council, CCGT Turkistan LLP and Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC signed an agreement to open a credit line of KZT 290.5 billion. The financing will support the further implementation of the CCGT Turkistan project. The document was signed by Ulan Burkitov, Chairman of the Management Board of CCGT Turkistan LLP, and Marat Yelibayev, Chairman of the Management Board of Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC.
