Deputy Akim of Turkestan region visited construction site

Deputy Akim of Turkestan region Nuralkhan Kusherov visited the construction site of CCGT Turkestan LLP. He familiarized himself with the beginning of preparatory works for the construction of the power plant, carried out by the general contractor.

 Chairman of the Board of CCGT Turkestan LLP Askar Kusainov presented to the regional authorities the general plan of the project, the main phase of which falls on the period of 2024-2026.

 Today, excavation works are underway here, and areas are being cleared for the main power plant facilities. Regional authorities promised all-round assistance for successful realization of the investment project on construction of a new energy source in Turkestan region.

Recall that the investment project "Construction of a power plant based on a combined cycle gas turbine with a capacity of 1000 MW" is designed to reduce the shortage of electricity in the southern regions of the country.
