District Governor of Sairam Visited the Construction Site of CCGT Turkistan LLP

The District Governor of Sairam in the Turkistan Region, Madiyar Orazaliev, who recently assumed his duties, visited the construction site of CCGT Turkistan LLP to review the progress of the combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant construction with a capacity of up to 1000 MW.

Representatives of CCGT Turkistan presented the district governor with a model of the future power plant. Project engineers provided information on the technological features of the CCGT plant, its environmental efficiency, and the project’s social significance for the region. Currently, residents of Sairam District are employed at the construction site, and the recruitment of local specialists will continue as the scope of work expands.

At present, construction and installation works are underway, along with the delivery and installation of large-scale technological equipment.

Since Madiyar Orazaliev has recently been appointed as the district governor, the visit was of an introductory nature. Following the visit, he emphasized that the project is of strategic importance for the region’s development and expressed his readiness for constructive cooperation with the company. He also noted that he is always open to discussing issues related to facilitating and supporting the successful implementation of the power plant construction project.
