Facade Installation Underway at the Administrative and Amenity Complex, Unit 1 Being Prepared for Finishing at CCGT Turkistan

The management of CCGT Turkistan LLP, led by Chairman of the Management Board Ulan Burkitov, inspected the construction site of the 1,000 MW combined-cycle power plant. Representatives of the project’s general contractors - Doosan Enerbility and Integra Construction KZ - took part in the inspection. The main purpose of the visit was to assess actual progress at the work areas and coordinate further actions.

Major construction and installation works are currently concentrated at the administrative and amenity complex and the main power block. At the administrative and amenity complex, with a total area of 18,675 square meters, builders are carrying out interior finishing works and installing engineering networks in parallel. Inside the building, workers are laying tiles, painting walls, assembling raised floors and suspended ceilings. On the exterior, fiber cement facade panels and stained-glass glazing for the entrance area are being installed. On the roof, the second layer of waterproofing is being laid, while cables for lighting, video surveillance and fire alarm systems are being routed.

In the main power block, the focus is on the process systems of the two power units. At Unit 1, workers are installing wall sandwich panels in the electrical switchgear building, preparing the room for interior finishing. Nearby, at the gas turbine and heat recovery steam generator area, specialists are applying fireproof coating to steel structures and assembling the air intake systems. At Unit 2, scheduled installation of equipment is continuing.

The delegation also checked the readiness of the fire station and the water treatment facility. Following the production meeting, the contractors were instructed to clearly synchronize the schedules of all construction, installation and finishing works in order to prepare the facilities for the next stages without delay.
