Installation of the Third Gas Turbine Completed at CCGT Turkistan

Ulan Burkitov, Chairman of the Management Board of Turkestan CCGT LLP, inspected the progress of key installation works, accompanied by representatives of project participants Doosan Enerbility and Integra Construction KZ.

The technical operation to install the 200-ton unit was executed using a crawler crane with a lifting capacity of 600 tons. The turbine was lowered into its designated position through a technological opening in the roof of the Main Building. Following the procedure established during the installation of the first two units, the process was conducted under the technical supervision of Doosan Enerbility and Siemens Energy engineers. The operation fully leveraged the expertise and lessons learned from the previous installation stages.

Currently, the turbine is placed on temporary supports to undergo high-precision alignment. Construction and installation works at the site are proceeding as scheduled.

The project is being implemented by CCGT Turkistan LLP through an international consortium comprising Doosan Enerbility and Integra Construction KZ. The facility is of strategic importance for ensuring the energy stability and security of the southern regions of Kazakhstan.
