Siemens Energy Reviews Project Progress at CCGT Turkistan

A Siemens Energy delegation led by Project Manager Siamak Manipoori visited the site of CCGT Turkistan LLP. The visit took place as part of the supervisory installation support for Siemens Energy gas turbines and generators.

Earlier, four Siemens Energy gas turbines, four corresponding generators, generators for the steam turbines, and auxiliary equipment manufactured by Siemens Energy were delivered from Germany for the project. Together with the project team, Doosan Enerbility, and Integra Construction KZ LLP, the specialists checked the technical condition of the main units and auxiliary systems, compliance with the manufacturer’s installation requirements, and the quality of the works performed.

“We see very good progress in the construction of the power plant. Previously, there were certain working issues between the project participants, but they have now been resolved. The works are progressing much faster than four or five months ago,” noted the Siemens Energy Project Manager.

The visit programme also included matters related to preparations for commissioning works, training of operations personnel, supply of spare parts, logistics, and storage conditions for parts at the plant.

“To commission the power plant, you will need trained specialists. We must provide personnel training both directly at the workplace and in Germany. This issue should be taken into account already at the planning stage, because the personnel must be prepared for commissioning works in advance,” emphasized Siamak Manipoori.
