On 20 February 2026, Ulan Burkitov, Chairman of the Management Board of CCGT Turkistan LLP, together with representatives of the contractors – Integra Construction KZ and Doosan Enerbility – held a site meeting and inspected the construction site of the 1,000 MW combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) facility.
The key objective of the visit was to review weekly commitments in a “plan–actual” format and to check progress on critical-path activities (i.e., tasks that directly determine the overall commissioning timeline). For the main building, 91.6% of the KZh (reinforced-concrete structures) scope has been completed. Backfilling, rebar installation and concreting of foundations, as well as works on walls and columns, are currently ongoing on site.
The participants also separately reviewed progress on the administrative and amenity building: they walked through the future floor levels and assessed work organization and the actual pace of execution on site. Following the meeting, the team clarified priorities for the coming week and synchronized the actions of the contractor organizations.
Ulan Burkitov stressed that the schedule cannot be compromised: “There is no alternative to completing the project within the agreed timeframe. Our task is to maintain the pace, strengthen coordination and complete the project on time.”
As part of the walkthrough, the participants also visited key critical-path milestones that directly affect the commissioning date and reconciled actual work volumes with the approved schedule.
