Wall Panels Installed for the HRSG Casing

At the CCGT Turkistan project site, wall panels for the HRSG casing have been installed in the plant’s main building. The results of the works and installation quality were reviewed during a daily site walkdown by Ulan Burkitov, Chairman of the Management Board of CCGT Turkistan LLP, together with representatives of the general contractor consortium – Integra Construction KZ and Doosan Enerbility.

Wall panel installation is a key process step. These components form part of a larger structure that shapes the HRSG gas duct and ensures gas-path tightness. This prevents hot flue-gas leakage and improves heat-transfer efficiency. The panels also provide thermal protection, ensure safe working conditions for personnel, and serve as a load-bearing base for fastening internal and external elements.

During an on-site production meeting, key project facilities were inspected, including the electrical switchgear building, the 500 kV and 220 kV outdoor switchyards, and the operational control point (OCP) building. The participants also discussed the current pace of construction and installation works and the concreting works for cable chambers and the cable rack structure.

The primary focus was schedule synchronization: cable pulling directly depends on the civil readiness of end points, while the installation of relay protection equipment depends on the timely completion of interfacing civil and electrical works. In addition, under the chairmanship of Ulan Burkitov, the production meeting reviewed the execution of action items, the closure of remarks, and the actual work completed during the reporting period.
